ASK Staffing is searching for a Sharepoint architect for our client in the Columbia, SC area. This Sharepoint expert will be providing configuration, implementation and development support to a team responsible for implementing SharePoint as the Web hosting solution for a Data Warehousing Solution.

Job Description
An expert SharePoint Architect/Developer with 3+ years of SharePoint Portal and Office development experience.

Must have a solid understanding of the disciplines as they apply to the MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) 2007 platform; users and permissions, layout and master pages, site definitions and templates, content types, web parts, policies, document and records management, dash-boarding and business intelligence.

Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, data marts, enterprisewide data modeling and database design. Able to define data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and able to apply accepted data content standards to technology projects.

Skillset:

Expert-level experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and MOSS technologies.

Demonstrable experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 3.5 and ASP.NET and C#.

Demonstrable experience with
1. Reporting Services, Excel Services, Business Data Collection, and Data Connections
2. Enterprise Planning, Integration, Deployment and Configuration.
3. SharePoint Security (Custom Membership and Role Providers). Novell preferred.
4. Sharepoint Development.
5. SharePoint Administration (backup, restore, software patches etc.).
6. SharePoint application life cycle (test, production, source control, deployment, etc.).
7. Demonstrable experience developing Governance plans
8. Must be a self-starter.
9. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
10. Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
