We are currently recruiting for a Sharepoint Developer for our client located in Houston, TX. This position starts ASAP for at least 3 months. The objective of the services is to work on the SharePoint Database for management, time tracking, and project reporting.
Responsibilities -
- Create tables/views effectively
- Use 1:1, 1:M relationships
- Automate and calculate information as needed, e.g. use drop-down feature, calculated fields, etc.
- Be able to optimize the database
- Be inventive and innovative with layout (user-friendly)
- Build user interfaces for input and output (reports/metrics)
- Create inbound/outbound data interfaces (incoming refresh and outgoing resource estimates)
- Visual Basic Programming experience, since some of the SharePoint features are based in Visual Basic and coding/programming may be required (nice to have)
- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related business degree
- (Optional) M.S. or MBA in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related technical field
- Good communication
- Documentation skills (document the technical information and details to support and maintain the database later on)
- Able to work in a team environment
- Be independent
- Strong development knowledge in databases (SharePoint DB preferred)
