SharePoint Web Designer / Super-user

Contract-to-Hire

Location: Las Colinas, TX

Essential Job Function:

The SharePoint Web designer will be an expert at Web design and SharePoint 2007 (this role is not for a developer but a super user) and be responsible for designing and building an intranet portal. They will work closely with leadership and SharePoint team to understand and develop requirements for the next generation intranet website, create mockups and prototypes for the portal, and design the site with the finalized mockups.

Required Qualifications:  

·         Must be proficient with CSS, HTML, Adobe Photoshop

·         Experience in SharePoint 2007(MOSS) and SharePoint designer

·         Experience in graphics, layout, and design required

·         Understands taxonomies, site design, and navigation principles and best practices

·         Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, Dynamic HTML and JavaScript required

·         Must be proficient creating mockups and prototypes

·         Strong communication skills

·         Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required

·         Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player

·         Familiarity with Supply Chain and Manufacturing organizations a plus

·         Prior consulting experience required

·         Local to the DFW Area
