Job Requirements:
The Shift Supervisor will manage and lead a team to produce a quality product, as well as on-the-floor troubleshooting. Responsibilities include setting the direction and empowering a team of approximately 20-25 employees as well as ensuring a clean working environment while helping to remove any obstacles. In addition, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining discipline and training.
A successful Shift Manager will possess:
- Experience in a fast paced environment (manufacturing not required)
- Ability to recognize and correct problems (people & machinery)
- Hands-on management style
- Desire to develop others
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift (with alternating weekends)
