Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in: setting up work areas; replenishing active pick locations; selecting/filling outbound shipments; preparing outbound shipments for over road or overseas shipment.
Schedule: Swing Shift. Monday – Friday, 5:00PM start time (start time may change depending on work flow). Must be able to work weekends if needed.

In the interest of meeting route dispatch times: Studies relative data daily & throughout each shift, and administers Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to determine the following: work assignments, efficient wave flow, proper loading & shipping methods.
Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Union experience preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to superiors, peers, and other employees in the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform intermediate business mathematics and thoroughly comprehend the science of our SOP documents.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense, carry out written/oral instructions, deal with problems effectively and multi-task.
Computer Skills: General computer skills, Tolas, WMiS system knowledge and ability to use RF/VoCollect computer units. Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
Certificates and Licenses: Operate all Material Handling Equipment according to OSHA and company guidelines.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; bend at neck; talk and/or hear; repetitive use of hands, simple, fine manipulation of both right and left hands; ability to adjust visual focus on small print; regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds up to 8 feet in height and 6 feet in distance; occasionally required to walk; stand; twist at neck and waist; crawl; squat; climb and/or balance; kneel; power grasp, push and pull with both right and left hands; reach above and below shoulder level; lift and/or move 26 – 50 pounds up to 8 feet in height and 6 feet in distance. The employee occasionally is in operation of foot controls and/or utilizes repetitive foot movements.
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The employee occasionally must walk on uneven ground. The noise in the work environment is moderate. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold between 40 degrees and minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The employee must occasionally work in high precarious places.
