Reporting to the Team Leader of Shopper Insights, the Field-based Shopper Insights Manager for Laundry will work with several departments internally and externally to represent the voice of the shopper to Henkel and the Retailer. This role will provide a foundational understanding of shopper behavior/trends to Account Sales Teams, Category Development, Sales Strategy, Marketing, Shopper Marketing and the Retailer. They will deliver actionable shopper insights to help Henkel and the Retailer understand the causals for shopper behavior and how the insights can impact sales of Henkel and the Retailer.

• Represent the voice and needs of the shopper throughout the organization • Translate business questions into analysis scope and project plans • Manage multiple complex analyses and research projects from start to finish by deadlines\: source appropriate data sources, decide on scope and methodology, develop plan, conduct analysis, synthesize findings, translate into actionable recommendations, and create and deliver compelling presentations • Serve as an expert in analyzing and leveraging consumer & shopper data to improve the shopping experience • Link the understanding of category shopper behavior and the implications to brand and retailer strategies • Identify critical shopper knowledge gaps and develop plans to address securing needed insights and resources

Qualification:

Who we are looking for


• Bachelors’ degree with 5+ years of experience in category management, shopper insights or market research analyzing shopper data such as household panel data or custom shopper research. • Experience in analyzing and drawing insight from retailer’s shopper card data • Passionate about the consumer perspective with experience creating or using shopper frameworks (i.e. journey/experience mapping, path to purchase, consumer decision trees, segmentation) • Experience with a full range of syndicated and custom research sources (i.e. Household Panel, Spectra, Shopper Studies) • Ability to connect multiple sources of data (qualitative and quantitative) to tell a holistic story • Effective storytelling and communication skills (written & verbal) • Ability to collaborate and share insights across an organization • Drive to connect with multiple departments at the retailer to build unbiased shopper insight based partnerships.
