Dental Assistants needed for temporary assignments on short notice basis at the University of Pittsburgh. The duties of a Dental Assistant include chair side assistance to Faculty members in the University Dental Health Services (UDHS), maintaining an aseptic environment, following OSHA and infection control guidelines, following HIPAA guidelines, maintaining instruments, and maintaining patient records. A successful candidate must have completed a formal dental assisting program or have 2 years of experience in assisting and must be licensed to take and develop radiographs. Candidates must be available to report to UDHS with little notice.  The hourly rate will range from $10.00 - $12.00 based upon experience.
