· Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
· 3rdlevel support for Siebel Call Centerapplications.
· Communication with Technical Lead, System Administrators and other Siebel Developers.
· Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
· Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
· Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
· Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
· Has good understanding of the business or function for which applications are designed.
· Also has duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other system analysis and programming personnel.
· Responsible for quality assurance review.
· Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDEXPERIENCE
· B.S. in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience required.
· Siebel certified 6.x, 7.x, 8.x with ability to work / working knowledge in Siebel 6 and Siebel 8.
· Experience with multiple full implementation or upgrade product life cycles.
· 5 years of Siebel development/configuration experience with versions 6.x, 7.x, 8.
· Experience and expertise should include Siebel Call Center application, eScript, java script, Workflow development, EAI, EIM, Smart Scripts, data model extension, Siebel Data Bean, CTI, configuration best practices, COM, business service development, batch and synchronous/asynchronous real time interfaces and system integration, inbound/outbound communication, performance analysis and turning, enterprise architecture, presentation/business/data layer understanding, Siebel components, and new features of 8.x.
· 2 years of client/server programming experience.
· 2 years of application integration and middleware experience – preferably MQSeries.
· Experience with Siebel Analytics a plus.
· Working knowledge of relational databases (DB2 a plus), and object oriented programming languages (C, C++, or Java) and hands on experience with Unix and Windows operating systems.
· Knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis, design and programming activities.
