Single Sign-On (SSO) Expert

Job Description

The Single Sign On (SSO) Engineer will be responsible for design, testing, customization and assisting in the implementation of an Identity Management solution at an enterprise level. The candidate shall provide technical and subject matter expertise to support the integration of Logical Access Control (LACS) into a production environment using Personal Identity Verification (PIV) smart cards to satisfy the logical access requirements for Homeland Security Presidential Directive #12 (HSPD-12.) The candidate will be responsible for developing a recommended enterprise-level SSO integrated solution for legacy and newly implemented systems within a government organization. The selected candidate will require technical experience to provide guidance through an intricate system development life cycle (SDLC) as well as architecture, design and implementation expertise of Identity Management products. Tasks include building resource adapters, integrating role-based access control, single sign-on, end-user provisioning, and synchronization services with the existing applications and systems. The position will require a close working relationship with all development, architecture and systems engineering teams as well as client subject matter experts. Knowledge and hands-on expertise in SSO implementations at other government agencies or Department of Defense (DoD) is strongly desired.

 Desired Technical Skill set

·         Understanding of Federal policies and procedures to including Homeland Security Presidential Directive #12 (HSPD-12)

·         Understanding of Identity Management Industry best practices and federal mandates

·         Knowledge and hands-on expertise in SSO implementations at other government agencies or Department of Defense (DoD) is strongly desired

·         Experience in workstation PIV enablement

·         Experience with Single\Reduced Sign-on methodologies and products

·         Experience with Identity Management software and solutions

·         Experience with Smart card login configuration for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista computers

·         Experience with Directory services integration with smart card login (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)

·         Experience with testing, configuration, integration and training on SSO and LACS solutions

·         Experience with Identity Management and SSO product survey and recommendation activity
