We are currently seeking a Site Leader for our Miamisburg, Ohio location. This position is responsible for all operational activities within the Miamisburg site as well as driving overall site performance.  The objective of this position is to drive high levels of customer satisfaction through quality, delivery and cost performance.  The position is responsible for overall site financial margins and performance. These objectives should be obtained by developing a team of strong talents to achieve world-class operational capabilities.

 

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for meeting site goals through the effective coordination of site functions, including those where a direct reporting relationship may not exist. 

·         Coordinates with site functions to develop a production plan in alignment to the site revenue plan.

·         Develops and drives plans to meet site financial objectives.

·         Develops and drives plans to improve customer satisfaction.

·         Facilitates and drives overall site goals through use of goal deployment and project teams.

·         Drives cost savings and continuous improvement through the supply chain.

·         Develops and executes a continuous improvement strategy including the use of lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma and Quality Control Tools.

·         Drives efforts to maintain and to continually improve the Quality Management System through the site quality department.

·         Support successful management of business relationships with key partners, suppliers and customers

·         Install metrics, processes, tools and controls that promote sound and responsible operational and business decisions. 

·         Builds and develops a world-class operations team through talent upgrade/development, effective coaching and counseling, motivation, and addressing performance gaps through the LOR process.

·         Promotes a safe and compliant work environment by driving activities through the EH&S department.

·         Ensures that OH&S requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with OHSAS18001.

·         Ensures that reports on the performance of the OH&S-MS are presented to top management for review and as a basis for improvement of the OH&S-MS.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

·         Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required; other degrees will be considered if accompanied by appropriate technical experience.

·         Candidates with an MBA preferred.

 

Experience:

·         Minimum of 10-15 years operations and business experience.

 

Special Skills:

·         Excellent leadership skill to manage a diverse group of strong talents to attain world-class performance.

·         Strong background in increasingly responsible operations roles in a technology oriented manufacturing setting.

·         Proven success in outstanding customer centric responsiveness.

·         Strong structured engineering skills, i.e. project management, product management, etc.

·         Proven capability in utilizing Six Sigma tools, Lean Manufacturing methodology and TPM deployment.  Certified Black Belt strongly preferred.

·         Moderate to strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reports.

·         Moderate to strong understanding of MRP. 

·         Experience developing and leading cost control programs in a highly complex setting.

·         Demonstrated track record of partnering with business leaders in order to achieve financial objectives.

·         Exceptional communication skills with strong leadership traits and the ability to thrive in an environment of change and continuous improvement.

·         Direct experience with electronics and related products a plus.

·         Must be eligible to work on State Department controlled products (International Traffic in Arms   Regulations controlled); US Citizenship or green card required.

·         Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
