We are seeking a Six Sigma Safety Manager who has had experience in dealing with fall protection, incident investigation and other Safety issues specifically relating to the Utility Industry.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Drive continuous improvement and develop employees using Six Sigma principles
- Develop and oversee Company training programs for employees in areas such as emergency response, OSHA regulatory training, Industrial Hygiene and life safety compliance
- Drive Safety compliance and program activities and assure compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Develop Safety strategies that support business needs and vision for the Organization
- Ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken on Safety hazards or potential hazards. Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Provide guidance and direction to other Departments to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- B.S. in related field
- 7-10 years experience in the Utility Industry with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience
- Certification in CSP or CIH preferred
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma Safety Practices
