Skilled Scheduler

Overall Responsibilities:  To ensure all patients are appropriately staffed by a member of the skilled staff as the need requires.




Duties Include:


 


·      Receiving all newly referred patients from Intake and scheduling the appropriate skilled
       staff member as determined by the RN Admissions Manager


·      Adjusting skilled schedules when a staff member has “called off" with like staff member


·      Preparing “On Call" rotation schedule and present to RN Admissions Manager for approval


·      Assisting Clinical Coordinators with skilled staff evaluations as needed, i.e. attendance,
       willingness to work various schedules as needed, etc.


·      Preparing reports as requested


·      Working collaboratively with other departments as requested to resolve issues as
       requested


·      Maintaining communications with the RN Admissions Manager to effectuate a smooth
       transition of patient and staff information


·      Documenting and reporting to Director of Clinical Services complaints received from
       skilled staff


·      Providing input when a staff member requests PDO time


·      Performing other related duties as assigned




                                     


Requirements

  • Previous experience with organizing and scheduling personnel preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to establish rapport easily and quickly
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
