Primary Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing all new business submissions
- Communicating missing information to broker
- Submitting group to underwriting upon receipt of all required information
- Submitting group to case installation upon receipt of underwriting approval
- Communicating group number and effective date to broker
- Answering various questions from brokers/clients concerning new group submission
- Working with Prime rating team and/or Underwriting to ensure rating accuracy in the system
- Preparing communications to producers to identify changes in rates
- Facilitating changes in field office broker database
- Answering generic benefit questions for brokers
- Taking all incoming phone calls pertaining to the small business market and resolving any problems posed from the brokers or customer groups
- Supporting the customer service end of the business relationship; focusing on the case installation and the on-going service issues that arise in the small business market (i.e. billing and claims research, resolving medical, mental health and prescription issues); processing all new incoming health care business
- Performing various open enrollment and eligibility support tasks

Qualifications:
- Must have State Health and Life License (90 days to obtain)
- 3 years of Health Insurance Industry experience is required
- Must be able to type 35 WPM
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required; Access and Outlook are preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
