Our company is looking for a experienced Small Plant Manager / Operations Manager who will operate as site leader in a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant for rigid packaging at its Raeford, NC location. 

Main responsibilities

• Responsible to manage 45- 50 employee staff and facility in achieving desired operation production quality, quantity and cost goals
• Hire and train proper workers for the required 3 shift operations
• Maintain excellent safety record
• Management of all plant facility operations, including maintenance, quality, utilities, payroll, budget and purchases, deliveries, inventories, profit and loss, etc
• Provides training to personnel to make sure all employees have the tools necessary for optimum performance
• Insures that all products produced meet or exceed ALPLA and customer specification

Requirements

• 3 + years plant management experience in an Extrusion Blow Molding high volume production facility
• Strong technical background in high-volume Extrusion Blow molding production required
• Strong technical higher educational background - BS in engineering or minimally a 2 year technical degree associated with manufacturing
• Proven technical hiring and training skills for technically qualified high-volume manufacturing production workers
• Solid leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Profit and Loss (P&L) and administrative management experience
