Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking an Instructor to teach Social Network Analysis. This position is located on-site at client facility in Metro Washington, D.C. area.
The successful candidate will be a course instructor with the following background:
- Has solid experience in education, training, and/or course and curriculum development
- Has experience using social network analysis tools such as Palantir, UCINET, Pajek, Organization Risk Analyzer (ORA), or Netminer.
- Has experience applying automated tools for entity and link extraction.
- Has experience conducting research and analysis to produce databases and intelligence support products on information/knowledge source and flow, influence/advisory networks, interpersonal dynamics.
- Has experience developing new Social Network Analysis intelligence support products and analytic techniques.
- Has experience training non-technical audiences in social network analysis methodologies, methods and tools.
-Is familiar with Intelligence Community collection objectives and methods.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
-Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or PhD with 9+ years relevant experience.
-Advanced degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Social Psychology, Political Science, Political Psychology, Education, or Computational/Mathematical Social Science and years of experience.
- Currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Experience applying scientometric techniques to bibliographic data.
- Experience applying decision theory, leadership trait analysis, cognitive mapping, operational code theory, image theory, social identity theory, and/or small group dynamics to leader personality assessment, criminal profiling, assessment of international conflict, or support to information operations.
- Knowledge of advanced social network analysis methods and techniques, including group detection algorithms, belief networks, and percolation and diffusion models on networks.
- Experience using Palantir, Starlight, Inspire, Centrifuge, and/or ArcGIS.
