Description: Provide persons, families, or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses, and/or physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services.
PLEASE NOTE QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work and eligibility to be licensed. PREFERRED: Mental health experience. A current Georgia license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Master Social Worker.
