About the Job
We are looking for an experienced programmer to update and enhance an already established frontend php web application and backend ruby application.
The frontend web application supports clients with a login to manage remote hardware devices. The backend supports the hardware device communication. A MySQL database ties in the frontend and backend applications.
Continual updates are necessary for the web application and new hardware device support is ongoing as well.
Skills necessary include PHP, HTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, MySQL, and knowledge of TCP/UDP Sockets. General OpenBSD or UNIX and CVS knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of J2ME or iphone/blackberry app support is also a plus for future development.
This job is flexible for either part or full time and pay is negotiable based on experience.
