Software Design Engineer in Test

RESPONSIBILTIES:
As an experienced SDET, you will be responsible for testing BI reports generated from high volumes of data for the team. You will also be testing ETL using SSIS, data cubes and reports generated using the data cubes and SSRS.

COMPETENCIES:
Strong coding and testing skills
Knowledge of and experience with .Net and SQL Server
Experience in SSIS and SSAS is preferred.
Experience working with high scale database is preferred
Experienced in using automation tools/frameworks to generate test automation.
Strong advocate of working as a team and experienced in agile development methodology
A minimum of 5 years software testing experience preferred.
A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 5 years demonstrated programming experience

Analyzes designs and develops overall test plans, performs repeatable testing procedures and processes. Responsibilities include verifying installation instructions, APIs, triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications, interpreting and modifying code as required including C#, C/C++ batch files, Perl scripts, JScripts, SQL queries, stored procedures and/or triggers, identifying and defining project team quality and risk metrics. Providing assistance to other testers. The candidate will need enterprise level configuration skills.
