Software Dev Engineer -Test - Website Platform

We have a Software Design Engineer in Test position that will allow you to help shape the future of website development at Amazon.  This position requires an engineer with strong hands-on coding experience in Java and experience with complex software architectures. You will work independently and in collaboration with a group of smart and energetic team members. We expect the ideal candidate to have strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion to deliver the highest quality products.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong engineering test background on large projects on collaborative teams
• Experience working in QA, developing automated tests for web-based products
• Proven coding skills in Java on Unix/Linux platforms
• Experience with XML, HTTP, REST, and other common web technologies
• Experience with common web frameworks like JSF, Struts, or Spring MVC
• A degree in computer science is highly desired
