Position Description

    We are looking for a Software Developer who will consistently demonstrate technical understanding and ability to help support the development and testing of Plug-ins, analyze and resolve deficiencies and defects within the product software, and support the development of client server software. The Software Developer should be willing and able to work with the client's internal development team and should be able lead and assist fellow developers/testers (locally and offshore) with technical aspects of the assigned work.

  • 5+ years of development experience (Application development preferred)
  • Adept with C#
  • Must possess a good understanding of XML.
  • Working knowledge of SNMP (or other Network Management Protocols) and experience with MIB/OID & SNMP.
  • Strong code analysis skill
  • Familiarity with nUnit and build procedures
  • Proficiency with .Net 2.0/3.0
  • Adept with Visual Studio 2005/2008
  • Experience in Ethereal (now called Wireshark); Network Protocol Analyzer for Windows is preferred.
  • Must possess a good understanding of printing / copier device functionality.
  • Basic understanding of different protocols and Network device management.
  • Experience with client server applications is preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and driven, someone who "takes ownership" of their work.
  • Familiarity with QA / White and Black box testing. (Experience with printer testing preferred).
  • Familiarity with networking principles.
  • Ability to lead small development and/or test teams in both a local environment and in remote locations (in and out of US).
  • Good analytical skills; ability to investigate and resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong customer empathy and customer facing skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology.

  • Adept with SQL Server 2005
      Education:
