Specmo Enterprises - a growing automotive parts remanufacturer and wholesaler has an immediate opening for an experienced Software Developer to work directly with our various departments to develop custom applications using .NET and VBA platforms.

Design, develop, and build database applications for new development initiatives for sales and marketing using .NET framework and VBA. Work with team members in the design, development and maintenance of multiple interactive projects, based on SQL databases.

Analyze business requirements, documentation and technical specifications for projects in conjunction with the project team to translate into a DB design.

Requirements

·        Detailed knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and 2008.

·        Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices, including Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures.

·        Develop projects in .NET framework using C# and VB. Experience in Access VBA, EDI, XML, HTML and Windows Mobile application development would be considered a strong advantage.

·        Knowledge in the following applications is also a plus: Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services, Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SharePoint.

·        Troubleshoot existing code.

·        Work proficiently in MS Word and Excel.

·        Meet project deadlines with appropriate communications to the Marketing and Sales group.

·        Provide regular status reviews and estimates for completion of all projects.
