Software Developer
The Software Engineer is responsible for design and development of applications, and for owning their applications through QA, Production Deploy and Application Maintenance phases.
Technical Skills and Experience
· 3+ years of Microsoft.NET software
programming experience,specializing
in web applications
· Thorough familiarity with Object-
oriented design concepts, and with
Design Patterns (particularly
related to Microsoft.NET/C#).
· Thorough familiarity with relational
database design concepts for OLTP
systems, with specific experience
with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005,
Oracle 9.0i/10/11g, or MySQL
· Intermediate knowledge and
understanding of the Microsoft.NET
Frameworks 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, and 3.5
using Visual Studio.NET and the C#
programming language
· Experience applying the MVC Model 2
pattern to web applications
· Past involvement in software
applications throughout the full
development lifecycle.
· Familiarity with the Extreme
Programming (XP) methodology.
· Proficiency with XML and
knowledgeable of associated
technologies such as schemas, XSLT,
transformers and parsers.
· Familiar with application
development and deployment
strategies (CVS, VSS & other source
code control applications, Ant,
CruiseControl, NUnit, JUnit etc.)
Education and Experience
· BS/BA in Computer Science or MIS, or
equivalent work experience
