Software Development Engineer in Test
About the Job
Technology Innovations Group, provider of contingent technical staff, is seeking a SDE/T to join our team working onsite at Microsoft. This full time position is open immediately.
This position is responsible for software quality assurance. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Developing test cases
• Writing acceptance tests
• Manual and automated code testing
• Creating and/or executing regression testing
• Triaging & addressing submitted code defects
• Coordinating fixes with development team
Candidates MUST be proficient in SCRUM and TDD, be comfortable working in a tightly integrated dev-test environment, and be able to independently develop test cases without a functional spec. Candidates should also have the following knowledge, experience and abilities:
• Proficiency in writing test cases in C# without a functional spec
• Proficiency in ASP.NET
• Proficiency in SCRUM methodology (required)
• Proficiency in TDD (required)
• Proficiency in automation
• Proficiency in WCF
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in IIS
• A minimum of 5+ years of C# experience
• A minimum of 3 projects that shipped
• A minimum of 5 years SDET experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies a plus
• Excellent communications skills including collaboration and teamwork
