JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide software engineering support in Dayton, OH to develop models of GPS, SATCOM, Sensor, Communications Systems, Airframe, weapon systems/subsystems, user interfaces and/or graphical displays. You will work as a member of a team of engineers and software developers and follow established processes to design, document, implement and test various systems and interfaces typically as part of a larger system model used to facilitate analysis, system integration and test. Key activities include:
• Design and implement robust object oriented software in C++ and/or C#
• Document software designs, assumptions and limitations
• Gather relevant details from Requirements, Design, and Interface Control Documents
• Actively participate in model development test and verification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical field or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience including exposure to the full software development life cycle
• Affinity for implementing precise code (e.g. C, C++, C#, FORTRAN)
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Detail oriented, capable of understanding and implementing complex algorithms
• Proficient in Object Oriented Design and UML
• Knowledge of GPS, SATCOM, Communications, and/or Sensor Systems
• Knowledge of software development process and lifecycle
• Relevant Masters Degree

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET Clearance are required for the position.
