Responsible for implementing a customized version of Chevin Fleetwave SQL Server database system using Crystal Reports for reporting, and will serve as the client’s Customer Relationship Management and Dealer Management System. Part of the implementation will also involve integration with Sage MAS200 accounting software. The Business Information Systems Specialist will work with the Project Manager, Webmaster, Network Administrator, and various department managers to develop business intelligence reports that help manage efficiency and profitability.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with project manager to understand business processes and key performance metrics that need to be enhanced and reported upon.
- Develop Crystal Reports and write SQL Queries to provide information to Managers and Executives about key performance metrics.
- Work with accounting department to generate automated P&L statements.
- Work with Marketing Team to develop SQL queries that automate CRM processes.
- Work with Chevin Implementation Team to develop SQL queries and Crystal Reports that create effective dashboards for General Managers, Service Managers, Sales Personnel, and Administrative Personnel.
Requirements/Background/Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL server languages. Expertise in development of Crystal Reports, including usage of OLAP cubes and working with ODBC connections.
- Knowledge of accounting, automotive industry, and retail business preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design high quality reports in on tight deadlines, and work with a team to achieve desired outcomes.
