Software Engineer – Data Systems

Join our dedicated and talented team of individuals all focused on creating the best products in the marketplace. We currently have an opportunity for Software Engineer – Data Systems in our Glendale, CA office.

Responsibilities:
- Define, design, and implement data and content solutions that integrate with different information distribution platforms.
- Develop reporting systems, tools, and applications to facilitate management of content.
- Identify and source new data and define approaches for data integration.
- Work with product management and application development teams to develop new applications for content.
- Implement and enforce rules for content usage as defined by product management, data architects, and legal.
- Develop and manage content metadata.
- Develop deep expertise in multiple areas.
- Keep abreast of latest technologies and trends.
- Learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance.
- Be committed to adhering to project schedules and milestones.
- Work in a team environment and be a team player.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years Experience in Object Oriented Programming.
- Knowledge in Ruby On Rails, Java, Perl, Python, C++.
- Knowledge in database development and information aggregation and distribution.
- Knowledge in SQL, shell scripting, and XML.
- Knowledge with UNIX/LINUX, ORACLE, Postgres.
- Knowledge with web technologies.
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interactive problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required .
