Your primary responsibility is to assimilate business specification documents, understand existing architecture and code, change existing code and develop new code to conform to the specifications, unit test and work through the QA cycle. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle of developing Web-based applications in a 3-Tiered Architecture with SQL Server as the backend. You will have opportunities to gain large project experience of using Microsoft SQL Server and other cutting-edge technologies. This position gives an opportunity to work on a system that deals with billions of dollars of payments, thousands of companies and tens of thousands of users.

Requirements

    BS in Computer Science or related discipline required.
    Formal training and real world experience in database development
    5+ years of SQL programming, using relational database such MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase with 2+ years focusing on MS SQL Server 2000 and MS SQL Server 2005: database design, T-SQL and DTS development, and performance tuning.
    Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and work with a team spirit.
    Self-motivated with strong verbal and written skills.
    Good planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills.
    Operates under deadlines and multiple project responsibility.
    Willing to learn the new skills required by the assigned tasks.

Desired:
    Large project experience
    Experience with JQuery, YUI or other JaveScript/UI development library.
    Financial System or E-Commerce System development experience desired.
    Systems analysis and design experience preferred.
