Software Engineer

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: Software engineers participate in the design, development and support of custom solutions within a Microsoft centric technology environment. These custom solutions are delivered using a variety of technologies including Windows applications and ASP.NET applications.
 
- Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with no assistance from a supervisor
- Design and develop programming systems making specific determinations about system performance
- Review and repair legacy code
- Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports
- Expected to conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies
- Making presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers
- Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff



  • Qualifications:
     
    ·         Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
    ·         Experience with full software development lifecycle
    ·         Experience in C#, VB.NET and\or ASP.NET
    ·         Knowledgeable with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
    ·         Knowledgeable with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Oracle
    ·         Must possess the ability to isolate code issues and resolve them quickly
    ·         Must have the proactive work style and high level of Customer Service
    ·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
    ·         Excellent organizational and planning skills
