The successful candidate will be engaged in the development of software system architectures, detail design, prototyping and testing.  Engage in proposal activities, project planning, training and the management of internal research and development activities.

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years experience in an Aerospace environment engaged in Software Development projects from Requirements Definition through Qualification Testing.
• Familiarity working within a formal Software Life-cycle process (DO-178B, CMMI, DOD_STD-2167A, MIL-STD-498, etc.).
• Proficiency with C, C++, Object Oriented Design techniques, Knowledge of Real Time systems.
• Ability to work with both Hardware and Firmware Engineers developing complex systems based on embedded processors
• U.S. Citizenship is required.  Applicant selected will subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Successful candidate should hold or be able to be granted a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• M.S. in either Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science is a plus
• Experience with Ada, C#, and/or .NET programming.
• Experience with developing applications and/or drivers for various flavors of Linus (Red Hat, Fedora, etc.).
• Experience with Video Capturing and/or Video Processing algorithm development.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner and to work in a team environment.

Other

We operate on a 9/80 work schedule, all employees work 80 hours in 9 days and have every other Friday off.
