Can you migrate MS Access databases to SQL and web-enable those databases?
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Web Service Development experience
- SQL Server experience
- Unit Testing Methods and Steps experience
- Software Development using Microsoft Visual Studio
- 3 years programming using Visual Basic (VBA) applications - C-family languages or Java, VBA software development and programming and debugging Network and Data Link OSI Layers.
- 5 years Design and Development using Microsoft Software Applications
- 2 years developing MS access databases, preferably databases that were used to do some other Department of Defense (DoD/IC) related work.
- Flexible and Team oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) program (a plus)
- Experience in Modeling and Simulation testing environments (a plus)
- Experience developing applications using the .NET Framework (a plus)
- Self-motivated; capable of prioritizing own work and time.
- Must be able to analyze the problem at hand and create logically consistent and maintainable programs from general specifications
- Need to be comfortable in a small testing group where initiative, drive, and flexibility skills are a must.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government issued Secret security clearance, eligible for TS/SCI within a timeframe set forth by management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Contribute to the Web Enablement effort
· Work on the Data Engineering Baseline System (DEBS)
· Develop Software applications to support net-centric testing of new systems
· Participate in operational/developmental testing of net-centric systems to ensure that the software applications meet the requirements.
· Research new technology and develop technical documentation containing requirements decomposition, research results, system/component designs, unit testing methods and steps and component documentation within the code.
