Software Engineer
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and 1+ years experience in software design/development. Must have knowledge of PC bus architecture as it impacts software design and performance. Experience developing, organizing and publishing software requirements derived from higher level requirements and design documentation; experience defining and publishing software test methods, plans, and performing software testing; experience and understanding CMMi design and development processes is required. Experience with Borland C++ or Visual C and Windows XP, is a must. Candidate must also demonstrate proficiency/experience with five of these eight: MatLab, algorithms for image processing, NIOS, Coldfire, USB, Camera Link, Ethernet, and GigE protocols, OpenGL, DirectX or equivalent is desired. The individual must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
The individual will provide assistance to lead software engineers in the development of PC test software for IR thermal imaging systems. Responsibilities include software development and the implementation of algorithms in “C” for IR camera systems that fulfill system requirements to schedule.
