About the Job

What you will do:


The Software Engineer will be a lead contributor to the Connected
Partner Program. The engineer will work on multiple areas within the Software
House platform, including web client and server-side and will be the primary
contact for SDK support for third party integration engineers. The engineer
will be a key contributor in the design and development of an enterprise
solution platform utilized globally.


How you will do it:

  • Takes ownership of product subcomponents including functional
    specification, design, implementation and maintenance of software applications

  • Participate in the design and specification process, encouraging high
    level software design and coding standards

  • Specify and perform high level unit testing of developed software

  • Develop technical product specifications and documentation

  • Prioritise own
    work load and tasks, and give guidance to others as required

  • Complete all assigned tasks accurately and on time

  • Provide project feedback to management in a timely and appropriate format

  • Work with customers, product management and other department engineers
    to ensure successful development and delivery of overall product

  • Review work
    requirements and provide development time estimates for project management

  • Support Third
    Party Developers on SDK

  • Debugging and
    fixing of defects for Windows and web platforms

  • Administration
    time for meetings, e-mails, documentation or other duties as required

  • Prioritize own
    work load and tasks and give guidance to others as required

What we look for:


  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software development and software
    development life cycle

  • Experienced C#, .NET

  • Previous experience developing applications for Windows using Visual
    Studio preferred

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5 a plus


  • Design and development of Windows based programs.

  • Design and development of Web based programs.

  • Debugging of existing Windows based programs

  • Debugging of existing Web based programs

  • Source Control management tool usage

  • Defect Management and resolution experience

  • Creation and maintaining of design documentation

  • Ability to present technical details to engineers and management

  • Good diagnostic and troubleshooting
