Software Engineer Sr
Description:
Develop software in a J2EE environment. Responsibilities require the ability to recognize software problems, develop creative solutions for simple to complex tasks, and to manage multiple tasks and apply corrective actions within a fast paced environment. Applicant should have good enterprise application/development/architecture skills including knowledge of model driven development, common presentation frameworks, proper layering/separation of responsibility techniques. Applicant should also have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Qualifications:
1) JEE SW development experience. Knowledge of JEE design patterns and JEE best practices.
2) Working experience with Flash, JDBC, Servlets, Java Server Pages, and experience with Struts/Spring.
3) Experience developing SOA based applications including Web Services engines (e.g. Apache Axis).
4) Experience with Application Servers (e.g. Oracle Weblogic, Tomcat).
5) Exp w/ rich presentation layer, strong comprehension of UI, JavaScript, Eclipse, Maven 2, JUnit
6) Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle processes, with emphasis on ABD, and spiral and evolutionary development.
