Software Engineering Manager

SUMMARY:
Will lead the development of embedded automotive software for powertrain components. Lead and drive specification development, software development and testing activities as part of of the commercial engineering team. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Will use a combination of high energy and previous supervisory and management experience in the design and development of automotive and commercial products. Following technical experience critical to the success of the position: 1
  • Embedded Software
  • C/C++, Assembly
  • HIL (Hardware in the loop) - ETAS, dSapce, Labview
  • SIL (Software in the loop) and simulation - Simulink
  • CMMI
  • Communication Procols - CAN J1939, UART, PWM
  • MISRA Coding Standards (Motor Industry Software Reliability Assoc.)
  • Operating Systems - (Real Time, Multithreaded, Premptive)
  • Control Systems - PID & Digital
  • Diagnostics
  • Software testing and verification - white box, black box, regression, system
  • Project timing and management skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS Degree in Computer Science, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering with 8-18 years of applicable experience.  Master's degree preferred.
