CEi seeks a Software Systems Engineer IPT Lead for our Wichita, KS office.  Position starts in early January 2010.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Will direct a team of 3-5 software engineers in the design, coding and testing of software for a US DoD aerial target procurement program. 

·         Responsible for the technical and schedule performance of their teams, and is also capable of performing some of their team’s technical tasks themselves.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

·         5-7 years of related experience.

·         Software design, coding, module testing, and CSCI qualification testing experience using CMMI Level 2/3 processes. 

·         Proficient at software development using C and C++ languages. 

·         Experience preparing the following software data items: Software Development Plan, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Document, Software Test Plan, Software Test Description, Software Test Report, and Software Version Description.

·         Experience with aerospace applications, such as autopilot code and other embedded systems, mission planners, and ground support equipment software, is highly desirable. 

·         25% Travel.

·         Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
