Seeking well-qualified candidates for Software Partner Program Manager position. Duties will include ensuring successful incorporation of partner software into OEM software image by working with both internal teams and external software partners, testing and evaluating potential partner software, as well as, assisting with the implementation of software on mobile/smartphone platforms. Specific job responsibilities include:
Day-to-day project management for partner software programs
· Own and drive the entire product lifecycle from inception to release for major software and web service products.
· Proactively communicate with vendors to coordinate partner relationship and manage engineering artifacts.
· Specify product requirements, set development schedules, negotiate features, manage deliverables, and track issues.
· Validate partner software applications and web services in terms of software functionality, quality, reliability, and performance.
· Release software packages and provide pit-stop instructions for OEM preinstallation and end-point qualification.
Research of partners products and new technologies, including
· Evaluate products from alternative software vendors.
· Research industry moves and new products in terms of user experience, technology readiness and intellectual properties.
· Measure and improve the all-around efficiency and productivity of partners.
Qualifications
· Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· 3+ years working experience in consumer software. Must have proven track record in software engineering and product lifecycle management that delivers on time on quality.
· Hands-on expertise performing software testing across multiple platforms.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
· Excellent knowledge of PC and smartphone, as well as software platforms such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Windows Mobile, Android, and Embedded Systems.
· Experience of large scale intercontinental software development and configuration management highly preferred.
· Working knowledge in search engine, security software, browsers, gaming, or productivity is a plus.
· Windows deployment and scripting experiences is another plus.
· Windows Server, SQL Server, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Google Analytics skills are a plus.
