We have an immediate need for Cleared PLC Programmers



JOB DESCRIPTION.



CDI Government Services is seeking Cleared PLC Programmers who have experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix and Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000 PLC programming. The products are mission critical machinery control and instrumentation systems for the U.S. Navy and other U.S. Armed Services customers.



This long term contract position will be located at our client’s site in Howard County, MD, in the Baltimore, MD area. CDI does offer good compensation. A full pre-employment background check and drug testing will be required.



Responsibilities will include:

- PLC Programming using Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000 & Allen Bradley Control Logix

- Updating/preparing test related documentation procedures

- Performing software testing/verification

- Supporting user interface changes running on a PC platform –

- Supporting the development of test tools used for product verification testing



Requirements:



- BS in an Engineering discipline

- Understanding of full Lifecycle Software Development and experience with development on Windows based platforms and embedded real-time environments (VxWorks, No OS, Embedded XP, Windows CE).

- An active DOD clearance or the ability to get a DoD Secret Clearance

- Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC programming experience

- Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000 programming experience

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written



Plus if you have:

- Experience with Control system theory

- Embedded real-time control systems experience using C++.
