Software QA Manager

Position Description

Responsible for the effective development and implementation of programs to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements. Administers change control process of zero defect software development. Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation. Administers problem management process including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution. Makes recommendations to superiors regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Must be familiar with Microsoft suite of products (Office, Word, Excel and Project) Very familiar with Agile Software development methodology. Familiarity with HP Quality center a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and prior team management experience a must.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years experience in software and/or program testing and demonstrated leadership skills

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
