CQ-Roll Call Group seeks a QA Analyst, who will be responsible for the Quality Assurance component in the software development process. It will include planning, developing, integrating, testing, regression testing, and maintenance in support of electronic products. The candidate will also be involved in monitoring and improving the process and ensuring that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed. The QA person will be responsible for creating and implementing test plans, testing templates, and test cases for several electronic products including web sites and data production systems.
Candidate Attributes:
The candidate should have 2-4 years of QA and documentation experience. The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of Internet or Intranet environments and have worked with creating and documenting test plans, testing templates, and test cases within these environments. They must be thoroughly versed in software life cycle methodologies. The candidate must be able to identify, prioritize and document issues through all phases of the software life cycle ending in customer sign-off and user acceptance. This position requires excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ideal candidates are self-starters, curious as to current political events, assertive and excellent communicators. Bug Tracking software knowledge is recommended. Familiarity with document management systems or configuration management is a plus. Familiarity with the following technologies or tools is a plus: Multi-platforms - Windows 2000/XP, Unix, HTML, HTTP, Java, ORACLE, XML.
