Software Quality Assurance Engineer
About the Job
SAMBA is looking for an all-star QA engineer with a can-do attitude, exceptional people skills and the technical chops to match. Detail oriented, with a relentless customer focus, this person will help evolve new processes and tools in a growing company.
Duties will include creating, documenting and executing test cases. Integrating test suites into a continuous build environment and working in an Agile development group - production troubleshooting, defect verification, documentation and resolution tracking for online web applications and bulk data products.
Skills:
- Deep experience analyzing, testing and troubleshooting n-tier web applications at various layers (black-box presentation to database verification).
- Experience creating and maintaining test harnesses and automated test cases.
- Experience working with 24-7/365 web applications and large batch style data interface applications.
- Automated test creation and maintenance (e.g. Selenium, TestComplete or other) operating in a Linux environment.
- SQL
- Scripting (Linux shell, Perl, Groovy, ohter)
- Broad experience working with internal and external clients in a defect verification and troubleshooting roll.
- Production web application deployment (Apache, Tomcat, Linus, Postgres) and build promotion support (Hudson, JIRA, SVN).
- Performance and load testing design and execution experience.
