As a result of our continued growth and the success of our business model we are searching for Quality Assurance Engineer who will assist in the quality effort for our survey application.
This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects independently and as part of a project team. This is more than just a testing position, we are looking for a strong Quality Assurance background with a proven track record of results in improving test efficiency and reducing test cycles while increasing test coverage. The focus of this position will be testing our Survey product.
Actions and Results:
• Identify, log and track defects
• Assist in associating defects with application behavior
• Analyze reported bugs and assist in replicating
• Develop test methodologies, plans, and strategies for development projects
Skills and Experience:
Required
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable discipline
• 3+ years QA experience
• Experience testing a web application
• Experience or familiarity with automated test tools
• Familiarity with SQL
• Attention to detail
• Previous test case development, test planning and execution
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of QA test process and its relationship to a quality product
• Proven success in performing effective QA testing within project timeline and/or resource constraints
• Adaptable, committed to deadlines and willingness to work in fast-paced environment
Desired
• Familiarity with Java or some other object-oriented programming language
• Familiarity with JavaScript
• Experience with web technologies: HTML, JSP, XML, CSS, etc.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment
