Technisource currently has a need for a Software Quality Engineer. This position will be 20-30 hours to start, but will likely move closer to 40 hours as project loads increase. This is contract work in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.
Position Description
SQE is to provide assurance of the quality, conformance, and completion of project processes and results as defined in the software development and software verification plans on a project by project basis. SQE is assigned to the software quality assurance (SQA) organization to perform SQA requirements under the direction of the QA Manager.
SQE Requirements:
- SQA shall have the responsibility, the authority, and the autonomy to audit project management plans, procedures, and results, to identify discrepancies, and to assure their resolution.
- SQA shall assure that project management plans; software development standards, and project schedules and resources comply with applicable standards.
- SQA shall schedule and conduct audits to assure compliance with project approved plans and standards.
- SQA shall schedule audits to support project milestones
- SQA shall produce reports of SQA tasks.
- SQA shall support customer audits.
- Must have some experience with DO-178B.
- Any experience with DO-254 is a plus.
- Any experience with Process Engineering, Software Testing and/or Software Development is a plus.
