Intellisource has a direct hire opportunity for a Software Quality Engineer for a client in the downtown Denver area.  This position is responsible for performing manual testing in the areas of functionality, performance, regression and scalability for web-based application, website and back office systems such as billing and provisioning.  This position works closely with the software developers as part of the Engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities:    

·         Write and execute test plans and detailed test scripts

·         Work closely with development team to resolve issues

·         Document defects in defect tracking systems and re-test corrected defects

·         Work within the company’s software development life cycle processes

·         Review user documentation for completeness and accuracy

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree
• 4 – 7 years of experience in a Software QA role
• Experience testing in an open source environment
• Experience with Bugzilla
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop and execute SQA plans for both new and existing web-based applications and features
• Understanding of software development process
• Superior documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong attention to detail
