Veterinary Data Services, Inc. provides data conversion services and integration solutions to veterinary practice management software vendors.
We have an immediate full time opening for a software support specialist on a six month project with possibility for extension and permanent employment.
This position will be responsible for working directly with end users and developers to ensure the successful processing of daily jobs. Duties include:
• Participating with developers to identify and troubleshoot processes with high failure rates
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relations and coordinating various functions to ensure identified issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
• Researching and resolving customer concerns
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• 2+ years experience in a customer support role
• Experience with SQL and solid grasp of relational database concepts
• College degree, technical certifications, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• The capability to quickly learn and assimilate new skills and technologies
• A positive attitude and the ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism in dealing with our clients.
• The ability to perform well under pressure and be resourceful in meeting our clients’ deadlines.
• Experience with veterinary software or in the veterinary industry is a plus.
