Short Description:
Position works in a variety of disciplines, development, critical client problem management, defect isolation and resolution, working with external vendors, software products and the ability to analyze business processes.


Complete Description:


           Provides support (technical or consultive with knowledge of products, applications, methodologies, and technologies and how these interact.


           Troubleshoots, analyzes, prioritizes, resolves and/or facilitates resolutions for primary products.


           Uses superior customer service and project management skills by keeping a positive, caring, can-do attitude and by keeping all appropriate parties updated.


           Read program code used in primary application to resolve client problems.


           Train and mentor regional tier 2 associates on project releases and updates.


           Reviews and provides input to technical writers, training developers on application specific publications, on-line help implementation and if appropriate, training class development.


           Responsible for learning primary and new products quickly.


           Act as a resource and consultant to R&D by providing input to improve software quality.


           Attend walk-throughs, project/product meetings and defect reviews providing feedback that can affect product improvement and functionality facilitating call reduction.


           Utilize the internal databases available such as defect tracking, source control, call tracking, patch delivery and internal workload tracking.
