Job Requirements: • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a concentration in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience of two to four years of cable services and products testing experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge and experience using Java, JUnit, JavaScript, Ruby, Maven is a must. • Demonstrated familiarity with client-side scripting (JavaScript, AJAX) is a must. • Ability to quickly learn DSLs and apply that knowledge to develop scripts using the DSL is a must. • Knowledge and experience in Unix/Linux is a must. • Demonstrated experience with dynamic languages (Ruby, Groovy, Python) and frameworks (Rails, Grails) is a plus • Must have experience with the development of test procedures, test tools, and automated testing methodology. • Knowledge and experience using scripting languages like perl, TCL/TK and unix shell scripts (sh, csh, tcsh, bash) is a must. • Must have experience troubleshooting complex systems using test tools, network management systems and error reporting systems to determine and resolve problems. • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills is a must • Excellent organizational skills is a must

Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated expertise with object-oriented analysis and design, enterprise design patterns and SOA architecture is a plus • Demonstrated experience with Java open-source tools and frameworks (Spring, JUnit, EasyMock, Selenium) is a plus • Experience Using and Understanding Digital Video Recordings, Electronic Program Guides is a plus. • Experience working with Agile Development teams is a plus. • In depth experience with a Cisco headend is a plus. • In depth experience with a Motorola headend is a plus. • Experience with cable system billing systems is a plus. • Knowledge of basic cable system infrastructure architecture is a plus
