Position Description:
Successful candidate will work on the ESSS QA Team under the direction of the QA Director
Successful candidate will work as part of a resource pool of test engineers and will be assigned to develop and execute test plans and scripts
Candidates will be given assignments based on proven experience using automated test tools (Rational Robot and Test Manager, Functional Tester) and manual testing (using Rational Manual Tester) against functional and technical requirements for one or more applications managed under the ESSS contract
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing applications against emerging technology/infrastructure changes planned by the customer.
The contract is with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, an independent agency of Treasury, responsible for supervising the National Banks. The Pragmatics team maintains and enhances applications for the ITS Department. Pragmatics Inc. is an employee-owned SEI CMMI Level 4 company with a competitive benefits package. Technical Requirements:
Experience developing software tests plans and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements – abiltity to create test data to support test scripts when necessary
Demonstrated experience executing test scripts and preparing test reports required.
Experience with Rational RequisitePro ClearQuest required
Experience with Ratioal Test Manager, Robot, Manual Tester and Functional desirable. Performance Tester a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of creating and executing tests using automated test tools a plus
Ability to prepare formal test reports a must.
Education Requirements:
B.A./B.S. Degree or Higher
Value added to M.S degree holder
Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
