Software Test Engineer/Manager (embedded, C/C++, CMMI)

Permanent Software Test Engineer/Manager position with an excellent, mid-larger size manufacturer of some very interesting, “state of the art” products. Awesome no-layoff track-record, very little turnover.

Requirements:

BSEE or BSCS. Ability to lead a team. Strong in Software Testing and Automated Software Testing. Strong in embedded software test experience. Strong in C/C++. Experience in scripting languages, Agile practices, CMMI/SPICE.

Develop appropriate test strategies, test plans and scripts, and related documentation.

Identify systems and modules that can have their testing automated. Design and execute test automation scripts. Help in creation of a test strategy and test plan for load testing.

Perform test runs as well as validate issues found during testing. Requirements, test plan, design and code reviews as well as user acceptance testing. Communicate technical concepts effectively to all parties involved. You will interface with Program/Project & Hardware Engineering, Software Dvpt, and R&D in an ISO Compliant Quality System environment.
