Software Tester
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Tester that will assist with the execution of end to end software quality assurance processes including planning, test case development, functional testing, usability testing, regression testing and performance /stress testing. He/She will be a part of a team that will serve as the product experts that will drive the continual improvement of product quality.
Responsibilities:
Support and execute all QA activities (test cases, test scripts, timelines, defect tracking, deployment, issue and risk assessments)
Involvement in the requirements and design phases to ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications and interfaces, provide retro-actively for existing applications
Participate in design reviews and test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality
Work closely with developers and support teams to build software to match requirements through deployment and maintenance phases of projects
Develop test plans and detailed functional and usability test cases (manual and automated) for each deliverable of the software and project implementation services
Execute manual and automated test cases for all phases of the testing lifecycle
Develop and maintain a repository of regression test cases, performance /stress test cases
Work with the QA Lead to analyze and write test standards, procedures and reports
Utilize a defect tracking system to record, report, and track issues
Proactively report test status and issue escalation in a timely manner
Communicate with various team members and/ or divisions on researching issues/ defects or replicating issues/ defects.
Requirements:
2+ years functional and automated testing experience
Must have experience testing web services
4+ years experience in Quality Assurance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong core experience in various phases of end to end quality assurance including functional testing, usability testing, regression testing and performance testing
Experience in both waterfall and agile development methodologies (scrum)

Requirements:
At least seven years of experience with CRM systems.
Experience with relational DBMS.
Application development experience.
Strong project Management experience.

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
