We're seeking an experienced Project Analyst to help implement strategies necessary to develop utility-scale, Wholesale Generation solar PV projects. The Project Analyst is responsible for working with senior sales managers and executives to formulate proposals, perform a variety of analysis functions, and assist in developing projects with select industry partners. We are looking for a team player with proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The candidate should be self-motivated and self-directed.


Summary of Essential job functions





    ·        
    Work with senior
    sales managers and executives to create compelling proposals for Wholesale
    Generation projects



    ·        
    Form working
    relationships with industry partners and cross-department teams within Suntech
    to gather information to assemble such proposals



    ·        
    Assist the
    Wholesale Generation sales team with solar performance modeling, economic
    analysis, proposal development, and responding to customer inquiries.



    ·        
    Serve as the trusted
    first point of contact for technical product and economic information
    throughout the sales process

     



Minimum requirements





    ·        
    BS in engineering,
    economics, or other quantitative discipline from a top institution; MBA or
    other advanced degree welcome



    ·        
    Three to five years
    in the energy or related industry, preferably in energy project economic analysis



    ·        
    High level of
    proficiency with MS Office software, especially Excel



    ·        
    Excellent analytical
    skills for turning energy data, cost data, and project constraints into useful
    information



    ·        
    Excellent oral, written,
    and presentation skills, particularly for creating, summarizing, and presenting
    information logically for executive decision making and customer interaction
